When we have students graduate and move on from our group at SDL, we have a tradition of doing a boat race at lunch in a little canal that runs between two of the SDL buildings. We have three students that are leaving this summer, so we had our boat race on Thursday.
There was definitely more competition this year, which led to some pretty unique boat designs. There was also a lot more water in the canal this year, which made for a much different race.

That is a fun tradition! Reminds me of our boat races up in Island Park . . .
